After a 3 day cruise from Monaco we arrived in one of my favorite places in the Mediterranean. Tivat, Montenegro! The one year old marina is welcoming yachts up to 220 feet / 65 meters. The sheer beauty of the bay of Kotor is mind-blowing. Proud mountains overlooking the crystal clear waters. It’s like a diamond that has not completely been polished yet.

The local food is from the farms in between the villages. So only what’s in season is available at the markets. The taste of tomatoes, peppers, peaches and melons is unbelievable. But for our upcoming charter I had to order a bigger variety of produces. The lunch buffets include up to 12 different dishes and the dinners are more elegant and formal. Don’t get me wrong, I still cook great food without fancy micro greens and 12 types of lettuces. But it’s nice to have and garnish our plates.
